How it works
From job ad to offer, in three steps
Import your resume once. For each job, paste the ad and get a resume tailored to it in minutes. MyCVStack keeps it with the job ad and tracks the application, so you're ready when a recruiter calls.
The steps
Import once, then tailor for every job.
-
Step 1: Import your resume
Upload a PDF, Word (DOCX) or text file, or fill in the form. It becomes your base resume, which you check once and reuse for every job.
-
Step 2: Paste the job ad
Copy it from LinkedIn, Indeed, a careers page or a recruiter's email. Choose how closely to tailor: Light Touch keeps close to your wording, Balanced (the default) reorders and rewords where it helps, and Maximum Match restructures most to match the ad.
-
Step 3: Review, apply and track
Read the tailored resume, edit anything, and accept or dismiss each suggestion. Download it as PDF or Word, apply, and update the application's stage as you hear back.
What tailoring changes
Your experience, at its best for this job
- Order: the most relevant roles, bullets and skills go first.
- Wording: your bullets are rephrased in the ad's terms.
- Emphasis: what the job asks for gets more space.
- Length: less relevant detail is trimmed from the tailored resume, never from your base resume.
- Implied skills: skills your resume clearly shows can be added, such as PHP when you list Laravel work.
New skills are only suggestions. If the ad wants something your resume doesn't show, it appears as a suggestion that isn't applied. It goes on your resume only if you accept it, so every line is one you can talk about in the interview.
You stay in control
Check it, change it, then download.
- Edit any part of the tailored resume before you download it. AI can still get things wrong, so you see everything first.
- Not happy with the result? Regenerate it. The first regeneration of each tailored resume is free.
After you apply
Every application, remembered.
- Every application on a board: one column per stage, from To apply to Closed, or a list you can search and sort by next step. Closed applications move to the archive, and you can bring them back.
- Stages in any order: set the stage that fits, with a detail like "2nd interview" or "No response", and the date of your next step.
- One page per application: the job ad, the resume you applied with, your notes, the recruiter's contact and the history, ready when a recruiter calls, even after the ad comes down.
- After the offer: the original ad is still there, to check the salary and benefits against what was advertised, now or after probation.
