Terms of Service

1. Who we are

MyCVStack (mycvstack.com). Contact: support@mycvstack.com . These terms and our Refund Policy form the agreement between you and us.

2. The service

MyCVStack helps you write CVs and tailor them to job adverts using AI. AI output can contain mistakes. Check your tailored CV before you use it; you are responsible for what you send to employers. We can't promise interviews or job offers. The service is for your personal use. You must be 18 or over to use MyCVStack.

3. Your account

Keep your login details safe, and don't share your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deleting it removes your CVs and cancels any subscription, and any remaining credits are lost.

4. Credits, prices and plans

• Prices are shown in GBP or USD before you pay.
• Tailored CVs are paid for with credits. Credits are taken only when a generation succeeds.
• Free credits and credit-pack credits don't expire.
• Subscription credits are refilled each month. Unused ones don't carry over, and they end when your subscription ends.
• Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.

5. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Subscription & Billing page; your plan then runs to the end of the period you've paid for. If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.

6. Buying

To buy, choose a plan or credit pack, check the order summary, and pay in Stripe's payment form. You can go back and change your choice before you pay. The contract is made when your payment is confirmed, and we send you a confirmation email. Contracts are in English. Keep a copy of these terms; the current version is always on this page.

7. Your content

You own the content you add and the CVs we produce for you. You allow us to store and process it, including sending it to our AI providers, only to provide the service. Only add other people's details, such as referees, if you're entitled to.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use MyCVStack to:

• create false or misleading CVs
• break the law
• overload, scrape or attack the service

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Changes and availability

We may change or improve the service and update these terms; the version on this page applies from its date. If a change affects a subscription you pay for, we'll tell you before it applies, and you can cancel. If we close MyCVStack, we'll refund purchased credits you haven't used and any paid subscription period you haven't used.

10. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for unforeseeable loss, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
